Photograph Licensing

Every digital photograph from Moments in Nature is sold with a written license that defines exactly how you may use it. The photograph remains the photographer's copyright; the license is your permission to use it.

Frequently asked

Can I share the file with my designer or agency?

Yes — anyone working on your project may handle the file solely for the work you have licensed it for. They hold no independent rights and may not reuse it for other clients.

Can I crop or filter the image?

Light edits are fine. You may not change the subject, composite in elements that were not there, or use the image in a way that misrepresents what it depicts.

Are the licenses worldwide and perpetual?

Yes. All standard licenses are worldwide, perpetual, and non-exclusive. Extended licenses can be negotiated with different scope (geography, duration, or exclusivity).

Can I transfer my license to another person or company?

No. Each license is bound to the Licensee named on the certificate. If the project moves to a new owner, they need their own license.

I lost my certificate. How do I get another copy?

Sign in at /account — every license is available to re-download anytime.

Can my license be revoked?

Only in cases of material breach — for example, sub-licensing to others or unlawful use. For genuine ordinary use, your license is perpetual.

Are these photographs used for AI training?

No, and we don't grant that right under any standard license.

What about NFTs or crypto?

Not permitted under standard licenses. Available by Extended enquiry only.

Refunds

Digital licenses are non-refundable. Because the photograph file and certificate are delivered immediately on payment, all sales of digital products are final. If something has genuinely gone wrong — wrong file, broken download, certificate error — contact us and we'll fix it.
